Offering support and guidance with homework needs. Children complete assigned school homework, if there is no assigned homework, we focus on individual areas of need. Worksheets and supports are given to help students gain confidence in areas in which they struggle.
We also conduct a reading circle for our younger participants during this time.
At 4:30 we stop all homework and enjoy a hot meal together. Staff and family members together prepare meals. Dinner club is open to any children or youth that would like a hot meal. No one is turned away as long as food is available.
Super Kids focuses on character building with a recreational component. Currently, on Tuesdays children participate in swimming lessons at the YMCA. Wednesday's, they participate in a lesson on a character building trait or values. eg. manners, respect, making friends, etc. On Thursdays it's pure good ol' fashion fun!
Kidz Zone, like Super Kids focuses on character building with a recreational component. Monday's lessons focus on but are not limited to fairness, respect, caring, citizenship and bullying.
Tuesday's, Kidz Zone involves swimming with Super Kids at the YMCA. Again, Thursday's are a time for them to kick back and have some fun!
Each PA Day has a different theme and outing. Children arrive at the Centre between 9 and 10 am. We participate in various games, crafts and in the afternoon we go on an outing.
Registration closes one week before the PA Day.

Mega Kids Camp is completely recreation-based for children ages 4-10 during the month of July. Each week is themed and follows the following format. Monday – Games/Activities; Tuesday – Craft am and Volunteering pm; Wednesday – Games/Activities am and Swimming pm; Thursday – Large all-day Outing and Friday – Games/Activities
Teens in Training (TNT) helps youth prepare for their teenage years. Programming focuses on life and social skills as well as recreation. We discuss topics such as anger management, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, etc.
Teen Extreme helps prepare youth for the future. Teaching life and social skills through real life situations. Topics of money management, healthy living, healthy relationships and college or career preparation are discussed.
Adult Book Club - 1st Monday of each month - 6:30-8pm
Art with Tracy - 2nd Monday of each month - 6:30-8:30pm
Parent Talk every Wednesday 9:30-11:30 am
